Happy belated christmas everyone. I know my latest posts have not been the most cheery of all, but I feel a glimpse of hope, joy and multiple orgasms coming my way… so there, it is time to celebrate. I have taken under my wing, so to speak, a former coworker of mine, who’s also a great bud. He had some bluesy months this year, so I suggested, and he accepted (thankfully) to start going to therapy. Today was his second session, but he seems and feels less conflicted. Although I’m not as accesible as I could be, friendshipwise, my faith is slowly being restored. I’m not religious, and I don’t plan to be, but friendship is one of God’s gifts, that’s my take. Sure, you get equal chances to screw someone over, or be screwed over as well, but when you just want to see your friends happy (that includes you, my blog friends 
, that is a great feeling. May the rest of your 2008 give you “champagne for your real friends, and real pain for your sham friends”.

That’s awesome things are looking up for both you and your friend. I agree, I think friendship is one of God’s gifts as well. C.S. Lewis had a great quote on friendship that I, of course, can’t seem to find now that I want it. Anyway, I hope this year looks up for you (and your friend)! This is a little off the subject but I have been searching everywhere for a certain candy that I ate both there and in Mexico. I can’t tell you how many stores I have gone into and how long I’ve googled looking for it. It’s hard candy that sort of tastes like a butterfinger (it may have small peanuts in it) without any chocolate. The wrapper is orange with little bears on it (though the top twist part is blue I think). And it’s an oval shape. Do you know what this is called or what company makes it?
