A piercing it shall be

A couple of weeks ago, I got me an itchin’ for another piercing. At first, I had opted for a ring around my cartilage, but I chickened out. It didn’t hurt as much as the one in my eyebrow, but the pain is inevitable, and is part of the point of going through with it. “Enjoy your pain”, that’s what a piercing artist said to Lorena once. I agree: “enjoy your pain”.

Hey, do you remember that Beavis and Butthead episode where Beavis is humming along to Bon Jovi’s “Something for the pain”? That’s how I feel now, all “sing-a-longy”, about my ear ring.

I used to want a brow ring but was too chicken. The most I ever did was 2 in my right ear and 4 in my left. One in the left was on the top portion of the ear and I thought it would really hurt to get but it didn’t bother me at all. Now, I only have one in each ear but could probably force a ring through the old holes.
